Washington Eastern Railroad
Wilbur, WA - May 11-13, 2026

Pacific Railcar Operators is pleased to announce a two day Excursion on the Washington Eastern Railroad on the former Northern Pacific Line..  Set on will be at the crossing at SE Brace Street in Wilbur, WA on Monday May 11th from 1-5 PM and Tuesday May 12th from 6:30 to 7:30 AM.  Do not set on until all paperwork is verified by the EC or his assistant.  For interested operators, on Monday evening there will be a night excursion west to Almira and return (28 miles).  The Safety meeting is at 6:30pm.   On Tuesday, we travel east from Wilbur to Medical Lake.  We will stop on the return trip at the Inland Northwest Rail Museum (if time permits) then return to Wilbur (128 miles).   On Wednesday we travel West from Wilbur to Coulee City and return for set off (70 miles).  The Safety meetings for both Tuesday and Wednesday are at 8:00 am.  Total miles of 226 for the excursion.

The run fee for this excursion will be $190 per car. 

Please bring 3-4 cans of nonperishable food for the Medical Lake food bank.

This is a NARCOA excursion. All NARCOA rules and requirements will be followed along with PRO rules which require a spark arrester, boots, vest and radio in the car.  Run packet will be emailed before the run with additional details.   Do not set on until your paperwork is verified by the EC or his assistant.

The railroad requires the NARCOA General Release as well as NARCOA, so please fill out two forms, so that the railroad can have a copy.
