PRO Northwest Tour
A Trio of Northwest Railroads - May 5, 6, & 7, 2025
Welcome to the PRO, Northwest Tour May 5, 6, & 7, 2025. Pacific Railcar Operators is pleased to announce a Trio of Northwest Railroads starting on May 5th with the Mt Hood Railway, May 6th with the Chehalis Centraila Railroad, and May 7th with the Mt Rainier Scenic Railroad.
On May 5th we will run a one day excursion on the Mt Hood Railway in Hood River, Oregon. Address is 110 Railroad Ave. Hood River, OR. for an excursion to Parkdale and return. Approximately 42 round trip miles along rivers, orchards and beautiful views of Mt Hood.
The next day, May 6th we will run the Chehalis Centraila Railroad. Address is 1101 SW Sylvenus St, Chehalis, WA 98532 for a one day run to Ruth and back on May16th. Set on is between 8am and 10am with Safety meeting at 10:30am departing at 11am. We will travel approximately 40 round trip miles of beautiful Washington countryside.
The next day, May 7th we will set on at the Mt Rainier Scenic Railroad Shops at 349 Mineral Creek Road, Mineral, WA. for a one day run to Eatonville and back. Approximately 40 round trip miles and more beautiful Washington state scenery.
Do not set on until paperwork is verified by the E.C. or his assistant, and all passengers have signed the NARCOA General Release. Operator insurance, Operator’s Certificate, Spark Arrestor, Boots and Safety Vest are required. All motorcar unloading/loading must be under the control of a winch. Everyone is required to adhere to Pro General Order # 6.
The run fee is $135 for each run or $405 for all three. Sign up for all three or just pay for which excursions you want to attend. Make checks out to PRO and mail them to EC, Rich Wilkins 2403 SE 102nd Ct. Vancouver, WA 98664. Please include your current mailing address, phone number and email with your check. All persons and riders must attend the safety meetings.
