This is your opportunity to run the Mount Hood Railroad with your speeder, from Hood River to Parkdale, Oregon and return. Approximately 42-miles round trip, with a 1,500 foot elevation gain.  This mountain railroad features some very steep grades (up to 3.5%) and a switchback.  It is the only operating freight railroad in the US with a switchback.  The Hood River valley should be changing colors with the onset of Fall, along with the last of the Pears being picked in the upper valley. Usually a beautiful time of year.  


Seton will be in the Mount Hood Railroad yard on Wednesday October 9, 2024 starting at 7:00 AM to 9:30 AM, followed by a safety meeting at 10 AM with a 10:30 AM departure. The run fee is $135.00 per car.
