Update:  This year we will be going all the way into Alturas and having lunch at the Brass Rail restaurant, turn our cars, and proceed back to Lakeview for set off


Thank you for your interest in riding the Goose Lake Railway. The run is 110-miles from Lakeview, OR to just north of Alturas, CA and back. Set on will be on Friday October 9, 2026 starting at 3:00 PM to 6:30 PM. Saturday October 10, 2026 will have a 7:30 AM safety meeting and depart at 8 AM. Run Fee is $165.00 made out to PRO. Will have lunch and turn our cars just North of Alturas.  Across the street from the lunch stop is a large gas station with food. Should be a beautiful time of year.
